One of the founding principles of the Southern Baptist Conservatives of Virginia was and is a solid commitment to church planting. This is not surprising in light of possessing a passion to fulfill the Great Commission of our Lord combined with the great need to plant churches in Virginia and Washington D.C.  Our state and nation's capital have more than six million lost and unreached people. To fulfill this great calling, SBCV is calling out lay people and the vocationally called alike. SBCV is preparing for a church planting movement through prayer, initial and on-going equipping and mentoring.
