Family Fusion is a unique, mission experience that allows children, to work with their mom, dad, and others to build a legacy of missions by meeting the physical and spiritual needs of others through relevant servanthood and direct evangelism.
Buckroe Beach is filled with both tourist and locals every summer. Through this mission opportunity we are able to partner with local churches to minister to these families in that area.

Speaker

Caleb Eckerd

Pastor
CrossView Community Church, Virginia Beach

Caleb Eckerd is the pastor and church planter of CrossView Community Church. A graduate of The College at Southeastern and now enrolled at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Caleb has dedicated his life to proclaiming the message of Jesus Christ and inspiring others to deepen their faith. In addition to his pastoral duties, Caleb is an avid runner, guitarist, and an enthusiast of Jiu-jitsu. These personal interests not only keep him grounded but also provide unique avenues for connecting with his community outside the church as he seeks to proclaim Christ.

When it comes to proclaiming Christ, Caleb holds tightly to Romans 10:13-15 (NET), which proclaims:

For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. How are they to call on one they have not believed in? And how are they to believe in one they have not heard of? And how are they to hear without someone preaching to them? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How timely is the arrival of those who proclaim the good news.”
