Four Questions to Ask about Partnership Missions Around the Globe
- What people groups / affinities / nations have come to our community that my family and church can pray for and reach with the Gospel?
- How much more time will I spend praying for the nations and how will my community group / Sunday school class / church pray for the nations in the coming year?
- What resources do I (or my church) have that could be rerouted to reach the nations around the globe?
- If God called me to go to the nations for one week, one month, one year, one career … would there be room in my life to obey?
Training with the International Mission Board
As intimidating as it may seem, God actually calls local churches to prepare people for mission. IMB Training equips churches with essential tools for raising up faithful cross-cultural workers. So much of missionary training is basic discipleship—loving and following Christ. IMB Training resources work with the discipleship efforts of local churches. Our materials and courses are practical, current, and culturally informed. The IMB draws upon the experience and wisdom of practicing missionaries from around the world so that local churches can better fulfill God’s calling at home.

International Mission Board missionaries and staff consider it an honor to partner with followers of Christ to proclaim the gospel. It may take four to six weeks for missionaries to confirm their availability.
