For Cindy, teaching is in her blood. She began teaching in 1982 as a preschool choir teacher. Over the past 40 years, she has served in a teaching capacity, honing her passion for sharing Jesus with children.
Prior to becoming the children’s ministry strategist for the SBC of Virginia, Cindy served as a children’s resource team conference speaker for the Virginia Baptist Mission Board for 25 years, joining the SBC of Virginia in 2014 as a children’s training conference speaker. She was also on staff at Leesville Road Elementary School for 15 years as the K-5th grade reading and writing computer resource teacher.
Cindy holds a bachelor’s degree from Radford University. She and her husband, Greg, reside in Lynchburg, where she serves as the Children’s Sunday School Director and teacher at Forest Baptist Church. They have two grown children.
