Having lived in Virginia most of his life, Josh planted New Life Community Church in his hometown of Louisa in 2002. Before planting, Josh started a timber company and remained self-employed until entering full time ministry in 2005. In 2011, Josh began serving the SBC of Virginia as associate church planting strategist while eventually serving as the church planting team leader. Josh earned his bachelor’s degree in Forestry from Virginia Tech, and his master’s in Divinity and doctoral degree in Ministry from Liberty University in Lynchburg. Josh enjoys spending time with his wife, Stacey, and their three kids:, Caleb, Laura, and Anna. Josh’s passion is to see existing churches catch a vision for planting churches, resulting in a multiplication movement around Virginia and the world. In his spare time, Josh can be found outside hunting, hiking, or exploring the many National Forests throughout America.
